About this event
The Baloise 10 Miles has been Belgium’s largest running event for 37 years with 2024 breaking all the records by welcoming 40 000 runners. The unique route takes you on a sightseeing tour of Antwerp, passing by the Kennedy Tunnel, Palace of Justice, Scheldekaaien, the Grote Markt and Meir. Runners receive extra support from the throngs of spectators on the so-called cheering lanes, backed-up by a DJ and cheerleaders.
Shadows has been a partner for Sportizon for three years now, supporting them with logistics, event management and production. Spread across different locations, we coordinated the complete build-up and build-off of the company village, making sure all tents looked spotless. During the event, we made sure everyone was briefed and everything ran smoothly, troubleshooting where necessary.
Across the route, we were responsible for cheering lanes at Sportoase and Meir and took care of a brand activation for AA Drinks.
