De Mol is Belgium’s most popular reality game show, with its format being licensed in 40 countries from all around the world. Participants have to complete various physical and mental challenges together to build the prize money for the eventual winner. One of them, however, is “De Mol”, a double agent hired by the producers to sabotage the efforts of the group. Each week, the player with the littlest knowledge of this person gets eliminated from the game, until finally the saboteur is unmasked and a winner is crowned.
At the end of the anniversary tenth season, “De Mol” was unmasked during a final live show at Palace 12 in Brussels in front of 10 000 fans, who themselves had a share in the finale. Season 11 & 12 had their apotheosis in Kinepolis Antwerp, where 6500 people came to watch the grand finale on the big cinema screens, in the presence of the participants and show host Gilles De Coster.
Shadows assembled a production team in charge of build-up and build-off coordination and general trouble shooting during the events.
